St.Cletus 5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run May 19th 8am 

Starting Location: McNair Park, Shelter #3 and #4
Entry Fee: 5K $25 for one, $20 each for two or more
1-mile fun run $10
Runners, walkers and strollers are welcome
(Fee includes: T-shirt for all who pre-register by May 12th, as supplies last for all others)
Awards: 5k awards will be given to the top male and female finishers, as
well as the top male and female in the following age groups: 12 & Under,
13 to 39, 40 to 59, 60 and over. 1-mile awards will be given to the top
three finishers overall.

Race Day Registration will be available at McNair Park from 7 to 7:45 a.m.
Restrooms will be available at the start and finish. Water stations will be
located at every mile. Refreshments will be available at the finish line.

Steubenville Retreat July 12-16 

  A weekend retreat put on by Steubenville University.  There will be four  thousand high school students from around the country in attendance.  There are only 50 spots available for this retreat I will take people on a first come first serve basis. The retreat is held at Missouri State University.  Anyone who has graduated 8th grade is welcome.  Please follow this link to register online: Steubenville online registration

 

 

Pray and Play Every Tuesday  at 7pm

This is a night for 6th-8th graders of St.Cletus.  There will be games, music, dodgeball and Jesus!!!  .  6th-12th graders are welcome to come every Tuesday night from 7pm to 8:30pm.

about us

Welcome to St.Cletus Life Teen. Our mission is to lead teens closer to Christ and His Church by…

  • Surrounding youth with a safe and welcoming environment leading to Christ-centered relationships
  • Cultivating in them the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic faith
  • Inspiring them to share a life-long love of Christ.

We accomplish this in a variety of ways through our different weekly and yearly activities:

  • We have a Sunday Life Teen Mass at 12 Noon every week. Teens are encouraged to sit together in the front of church to help build community.
  • We meet every Sunday night at 7:00pm for our Life Nights. Life nights are the way we bring the teachings and beliefs of the Catholic Church to the youth in the program.
  • On Tuesday nights, we have open gym to give the teens a time in the middle of the week to connect with the parish.
  • We have several retreats throughout the year to help teens experience Christ in a deeper way. We have a fall retreat, a Luke 18 retreat for 7th and 8th graders, a weeklong service retreat (CHRISTpower), and a summer Steubenville conference. All of these activities are geared towards leading teens closer to Christ.

Our program is supported by the parish, Fr.Benz, and is run by our Director of Youth Ministry, Bob Hamer. Bob is assisted by a dedicated group of volunteers called the Core Team. The Core Team is made up of young adults and some not so young adults who are a part of the parish. They lead small groups, plan events, and helping teens build a relationship with Christ and His Church.
