Lector Schedule

I will now be posting the Lector Schedule directly in to the message board. So, click on News/Annoucements to find it.

Hello From Troy

Wow, I have a break today. Usually when I teach P.E. during the week I have no breaks during the day, it’s just 8 classes in a row about 220 students, but this week they have testing, so I don’t have a couple of the classes. I really enjoy making the kids run and do pushups and pullups and situps. They don’t seem to like it at all though. Anyway I was reflecting a little this morning on what’s happening at St.Cletus, I’ve been there about two and half months now and I’ve really enjoyed my time here getting to know everyone and just being able to see how enthusiastic you are about the life teen program. So, I would like to thank you for welcoming me and letting me be a part of your lives. I hope that we continue to grow as a youth ministry, coming closer to Christ and His Church and supporting eachother in our faith. On that note don’t forget about the retreat coming Nov. 4-6. We are going to Camp Trinity near Washington, MO. We will have the whole place to ourselves, and a lot of time for fun and stuff. Also, the prayer group lead by Craig last week went really well. He did a great job sharing his own story and leading the group in discussion and prayer. The next prayer group is Tuesday Sept.27th at 7:30 in the small chapel led by Julie. We are also having a bible study this week on Wednesday night at 7:30 led by Clayton Graham. So, keep coming and I hope to see everyone at mass on Sunday.
Oh, by the way the Cubs finished the season series with the Cardinals 10 wins to 6 losses.

Go Cards

Ted said, “Go Cards, and this office is really small”.

Ted’s First Visit to Bob’s Office

A quote from Ted, ” Wow this office is small, I wish there were Cubs posters all over, oh I mean cardinals. I really want to watch ESPN, but there is no cable, the rams were really bad yesterday.” It is soooo hot Duschesne got out of school early, that must be nice. Tomorrow is Jackie’s birthday and she’s getting her license, so make sure you drive very carefully and watch out for a crazy driver, also I heard she has a lead foot. Yesterday was Rosemary’s birthday she’s not driving yet though. Carrie really likes triscuits, and cries a lot on retreats and stuff, but she’s really cute when she cries. See you later, and I need a bigger office.

Crossroads Deadline

Hello everyone. I am just reminding anyone who wants to go on the Crossroads music festival Sept. 23-25 that I need to know if you are going or not so that I can get the tickets and have the right number of cabins. I need this number by Sept. 14th, so either give me a call, respond to this blog, send me your check and permission form or bring it to life night on Sunday, bring it to mass on Sunday, come and drop it off in the office, leave me a message on my phone( 946-9193 ), send me an email, or any other way you can think of. I hope to everyone on Sunday for mass and the first life night of the new semester. Remember to bring a friend and earn points for a free retreat. See you later, Bob, oh by the way the Cubs took 2 0ut of 3 from the Cardinals this week, that makes the season series Cubs 8, Cardinals 4.
