The Price and What it includes

The total cost of the Life Really Matters 2008 trip for $215. Included in this cost are the following:

1) Experience of the annual Pro-Life March to witness to the sanctity of all human life.

2) Two nights in the Double Tree, Crystal City hotel. This hotel is located near the National Mall. The hotel provides constant shuttle service to a nearby Metro station (subway). The Metro will provide access in and around the Washington D.C. area. We have made arrangements with the hotel to provide a common area for us to meet, play games, or just hang out. And you will get one free delicious Double Tree cookie at check-in.

4) Excellent Programming: We will be planning programming and Mass for Sunday and Monday at the Double Tree with Karl Zimmerman heading up the Music and Righteousb as the M.C. We will also join thousands of other teens at Constitution Hall for a rally and Mass prior to the March.

5) “Life Really Matters” souvenir. With a really cool design.

Happy New Year, everyone!

One of the things I love best about the new year is not all the bowl games, or even the day off of work. I really have come to appreciate and embrace the opportunity to do over what I didn’t do right last year.

For instance, one of my New Year’s resolutions from last year was to run 400 miles. I completed close to 80 miles, or just 20% of my goal. Rather disappointing to acknowledge that, if you ask me. But 2008 is an entirely new year, and affords me a new chance to reach that goal. I’m taking advantage of it, and I encourage everyone to come along with me.

What are your goals for this year? What are you hoping to do-over in 2008 what you failed to do in ‘07? What resolutions are you making?

Discuss them here:
